What type of personal information will we collect?
Before committing to provide you with services, we may collect and process the following personal information: full name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to include in your website contact form message or email. If a service is booked, we also collect your address.
Additionally, we collect information about your dog(-s), including but not limited to their name, breed, age, behavioural and medical history, and veterinary details.

We collect personal information directly from you via email, our website, when you voluntarily complete a contact form to arrange an initial consultation, book a session, or ask questions, or in person during our meetings.

Why do we process your personal information?
We need to process your personal information to answer queries, fulfil our contract with you, and deliver our services, including but not limited to answering questions, scheduling services, managing bookings and appointments, and processing payments. It is also required to process and keep your personal information to comply with our legal obligations. We process your dogs’ information to ensure the safety of your dog(-s), our staff, and the public, and to tailor the services we provide to you.
With whom will your personal information be shared?
We use Google Workspace (including but not limited to Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Sheets) to manage our daily corporate operations, client emails, schedule logs, and booking records. Google Workspace uses cloud encryption and meets international security standards, including ISO/IEC 27018. Google is contractually prohibited from scanning your data or records of your dog(-s) to serve advertisements. Google Workspace may store or transfer information on servers outside the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA). To protect your personal data, all such transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
We host our website using Squarespace, Inc. (“Squarespace”). If you interact with our website, for example, by filling out a contact form, your personal information, as well as information automatically received, including via cookies or similar tracking technology, when you visit our website, will be transferred to, processed, and stored on cloud servers located in the United States. Squarespace complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Squarespace relies on these frameworks to legally transfer consumer and end-user data (Non-HR Data) from the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland to the United States.
We may also share your personal information with veterinary professionals in emergencies.

We process your full name and contact details, as well as details of your dog(-s), including but not limited to their name, breed, and age, under Legitimate Interests to respond to inquiries you send us via our website contact form or email.
We process your personal information, including your full name, phone number, email address, and home address, and information about your dog(-s), including but not limited to their name, breed, age, behavioural and medical history, as well as veterinary details, under Performance of a Contract to safely and effectively fulfil our services and manage bookings.
We are also legally required to collect, process, and retain certain categories of your personal information under the lawful basis of Legal Obligation to comply with statutory UK legislation.
How will we store your personal information?
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.
Your data is stored electronically, both online and locally on a password-protected device and in password-protected files.
For how long will we store your personal information?
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary. In practice, this means we will store your data for at least 7 years after termination of your services. This is done for business purposes, such as legal reasons. After that, we completely delete your files.
How will we treat your personal information?
We treat your personal information confidentially and in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and the UK GDPR. The lawful and appropriate management of your personal information is essential to us, particularly in maintaining your trust.

If photographs and/or videos of your dog(s) and you have been used before the consent is withdrawn, we will do our best to remove them from our social media and website. We will not use them for marketing purposes from the date of consent withdrawal; however, we will not be able to recall the marketing materials, including but not limited to leaflets, that have already been distributed, and this content may remain publicly available indefinitely.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we handle your personal data, then do please communicate this to us at the earliest possible opportunity. We will listen to and discuss your concerns and do our best to try to resolve any issues you raise.
